sailing instruction

(37) “sailing instruction” means teaching, research, and practical experience in operating vessels propelled primarily by sail and may include— (A) any subject related to that operation and to the sea, including seamanship, navigation, oceanography, other nautical and marine sciences, and maritime history and literature; and (B) only when in conjunction with a subject referred to in subclause (A) of this clause, instruction in mathematics and language arts skills to sailing school students having learning disabilities.
