79 Stat. 266, prescribed basic compensation of assistants to Majority and Minority at not more than $8,160 per annum each effective July 1, 1965.
Act May 19, 1956, ch. 313, Ch. XII,
70 Stat. 175, provided that basic compensation of assistant to majority and assistant to minority may be fixed by majority and minority leaders, respectively, at a rate not to exceed $8,820 per annum.
Section 105 of
Pub. L. 94–59 provided that this section is effective July 1, 1975.
