The Central Intelligence Agency Act of 1949, referred to in subsec. (e)(2)(B), is act June 20, 1949, ch. 227, 63 Stat. 208, as amended, which is classified generally to section 403a et seq. of Title 50, War and National Defense. Amendments

2008—Pub. L. 110–181 and Pub. L. 110–417 amended section identically, substituting “Director of the Central Intelligence Agency” for “Director of Central Intelligence” wherever appearing.
2003—Subsecs. (a), (b)(1), (2), (c), (e)(1), (2)(B). Pub. L. 108–136 substituted “National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency” for “National Imagery and Mapping Agency” wherever appearing.
